Jet Carrying US Defense Secretary Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The plane landed based on established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative stated in a social media post.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to Brussels during the flight.

This occurrence is not the first time that a United States armed forces jet transporting a high-ranking official has experienced technical problems.

Months ago, a American military jet carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was required to turn back to Washington after experiencing a mechanical fault.
